20th June 2007 After having a holiday home at various locations on the coast for the last 20 years, we decided to move in-land. We searched for 3and a half years and looked at many properties, none of which suited our needs. Then, whilst browsing the internet we found Lisa and Pedro’s site “Andalucian Rural Estates”. The properties displayed looked promising so we arranged a viewing on our next trip to Spain. They arranged to meet us and took us to look at 5 or 6 properties, which we had seen on the web site. We were not disappointed at all. The most impressive thing was their honesty about each of the properties viewed. There was no pressure at all. We picked out a property on the first viewing trip and after looking for 3 and a half years, we could not believe it. We are now settled in the property and loving it! Nothing was too much trouble for both Lisa and Pedro, they arranged a local solicitor, took us and showed us various shops to buy furniture and a kitchen and helped numerous times like liasing with the Spanish builder. This made to whole process very enjoyable. It goes without saying that we would recommend Lisa and Pedro to take the pit falls out of buying a property in Spain. 21st February 2007 I first started looking for property in Spain in January 2006 and found Lisa and Pedro almost by accident - but they were covering an area I was interested in. They showed me several properties that were almost suitable but not quite. Then we got to see the house I now call "Los Perros". It was perfect and although it needed a lot of work the location and view were stunning. But the assistance from Lisa and Pedro did not end there. On the 6th January we went back to see the house again. The 6th is Three Kings Day in Spain, the most important religious festival in their calendar and the day on which presents are exchanged. It was like asking an estate agent in the UK to pop the turkey back in the oven for a few hours on Christmas Day and take a client to see a house again. Once the offer was made a subsequent visit in February established contact with a local English speaking solicitor, a bank account and an N.I.E number, the equivalent of a national Insurance Number for foreign residents in Spain. Again Lisa was instrumental in recommending the contacts. It took nearly a year to settle my affairs in the UK but Lisa was in regular contact and when the move finally happened she was there - with her mother - cleaning the house! Since then she has helped with locating a plumber, electricians, builders, the purchase of a vehicle, insurance, mobile phone, pool maintenance, logs for the fire etc. etc. In short, if estate agents in the UK provided the kind of package that Lisa and Pedro provide the British house-buying public would suffer mass apoplexy - caused by the shock of finding someone that understands and demonstrates the true value of service.
